The Before School Program is the perfect option for children in need of early morning supervised activities. Our program includes quiet games, a reading corner, and much more.
After School Program (ASP)
The After School Program offers a variety of learning activities. Activities include games, crafts, technology, and more! There are also plenty of opportunities for Enrichment during this time. The after school program is only available for PreK- 5th grade There is not an After School Program for MSGA.
Registration Information
Registration for the 2026–2027 Before School
Program (BSP) and After School Program (ASP) closed on July 1,
2026. To ensure proper staffing and a safe, high-quality program, we encourage all families to register in advance!
New to Marietta City Schools?
Families whose students enrolled in Marietta City Schools within the last 10 days may still be eligible to register for BSP/ASP.
If your student is not new to Marietta City Schools, registration for the 2026-2027 schoolyear closed on July 1. If you wish to register for the waitlist, please complete the registration questionnaire below. Beginning the day after Labor Day, September 8, 2026, and then on the first of each subsequent month, the waitlist will be re-considered. If a space is available at your school (dependent upon staffing, student attendance, etc.), you will be offered a space at that time. Families who are in immediate need of after school childcare are encouraged to explore community-based childcare programs, such as PALs, Boys & Girls Club, The Salvation Army, or other local providers. Once a student's registration is approved, the registration fee will be charged to the card on file:
- BSP: $15
- ASP: $25
- Both Programs: $40
- Late Registration: $50
Registration provides access to the program throughout the school year. Families are only billed for the days their child attends.
Parents are responsible for communicating their child’s transportation/dismissal plan with the school.
*All transportation changes must be communicated to the school by 2:30 p.m. each day.*
Program Registration Fees
Before School Program: $15 per student
After School Program: $25 per student
After & Before School Program: $40 per student
Re-Registration Fee for Non-Payment: $50 per student
*We do NOT accept CAPS for registration fees. CAPS families are responsible for paying the registration fee at the time of registration.*
ASP for Conference Week
Marietta City Schools schedules parent-teacher conferences from October 12-16, for elementary schools and from October 19-23, for MCAA. During the week of parent-teacher conferences students are dismissed from school at 1:15pm (2 hours earlier).
During conference week, parents who want their children to attend the after-school program must complete a SEPARATE registration specific to Conference Week, with a prepaid tuition that is $75 for the entire week. Tuition is not prorated.
Registration for the After-School Program during Conference Week will open on September 1.
Elementary Rates:
BSP: $5 per morning per student
ASP: $10 per afternoon per student
MCAA/MSGA Rates:
BSP: $7 per morning per student
MCAA ASP Rate:
ASP: $9 per afternoon per student.
(MCAA only)

BSP: 6:45am-7:30am

MSGA Hours
BSP ONLY: 7:00am-8:45am
*$2 per minute late pick-up fee; after three late pick ups students are removed from the ASP program for the remainder of the school year
